Student Stories

Ayesha S
Since graduating, I’m most proud of the impact I’ve had as a young leader in the hospitality industry. I’ve been entrusted with leading high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and care. One of my proudest moments was being named to Hospitality Management Magazine’s “30 Under Thirty” list - a recognition not only of my individual contributions, but also of the people I’ve mentored and the values I’ve championed

Gavin B
Under the guidance of Vesela Veleva, I was exposed to corporate sustainability, working with companies like Biogen, Dell, Raytheon, and many others. My MBA program helped me to understand the framework that sustainability must work within. Through the countless case studies, policy research, and hands on independent studies I conducted during my tenure, I started to see patterns that I've since used to conduct business throughout my professional career.
