Biography

Darren Sacks is an adjunct double bass instructor at UMass Boston. He performs with the Cape Symphony, Portland Symphony, New Bedford Symphony, Worcester Symphony and others. Sacks has appeared in high-profile productions at Boston Symphony Hall and the Wang Theatre. He holds a Master’s from Boston Conservatory and a Bachelor’s from the Hartt School at University of Hartford, studying with leading Boston Symphony, New York Philharmonic, and Juilliard School bassists.
