Welcome to the Department of Art & Art History
The Art and Art History program prepares students to meet their goals after graduation whether those are for employment or further study at the graduate level. As a combined program of both art history and studio art making, our students graduate with a far richer background in the arts than those studying in more traditional programs that separate the two. In our program, theory becomes practice, practice is enhanced by critical study, and students are given opportunities to network with professionals.
