The field of Latin American & Iberian studies explores the languages, literatures, and histories of Spain, Portugal, Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as the millions of people of Hispanic descent living in the United States.

About Us
We prepare students for a broad spectrum of careers, we provide opportunities for students to acquire proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese, major in Latin American and Iberian Studies, minor in Spanish Language, Portuguese Studies, or Latin American Studies, receive a certificate in Spanish-English Translation, or fulfill content area requirements for certification to teach Spanish in Massachusetts.
