Latino Studies is an ethnic studies program grounded in the knowledge, histories, experiences, and cultural expression of Latinx communities in the US. We serve UMass Boston students from all colleges. Latino Studies students believe in racial justice. They see themselves as co-creators of knowledge and believe in sharing that knowledge. They believe in creating reciprocal and transformational relationships with the communities UMass Boston serves. Latino Studies students believe in making a difference.
Students from across the university can Minor in Latino Studies.
