Undergraduates
Latino Leadership Opportunity Program (LLOP)
The Latino Leadership Opportunity Program is an academic enrichment and leadership development program for undergraduates. Students enroll in a one-semester research seminar (Anthropology 477) where they learn about the research process through an analysis of public policy issues that impact Latino communities. Students also participate in discussions and events concerning the state of Latino communities, both within Massachusetts and nationally. Students also receive Mentorship from faculty advisors who support their research endeavor within the course.
The program is open to all undergraduates. Latino studies minors enrolled in LLOP fulfill a requirement toward the minor.
