UMass Boston, under the leadership of Chancellor Marcelo Suarez-Orozco, has been awarded a $2.5 million grant from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). This grant, titled "Transforming Boston Access to Mental Health," is a testament to our university's commitment to preparing a diverse cadre of practitioners to serve our communities effectively. Through this grant, UMass Boston will provide fellows with comprehensive education, training, and fieldwork opportunities, with a commitment to practice within the city of Boston.
