  • The Consortium offers interdisciplinary graduate-level courses, collaborative events and conferences, and engaging micro-seminars for Masters and PhD students that are led by faculty in a range of disciplines.

  • Here4U is a digital assistant to help you with basic issues and questions. You’ll receive instant resources to address the situation. For more complex issues, you’ll answer a few questions and then someone who’s knowledgeable on the issue will reach out with more information. With Here4U, you can quickly and easily share feedback, thoughts, suggestions, and enter service requests.
  • Religious Observances: submit the Notice of Absence Request Form to receive accommodations for religious observances.
  • Resources4U? provides information and resources on financial and personal matters for UMass Boston students.

  • Contact the Dean of Students Office for help addressing a wide range of academic and personal issues.

  • The Writing Center provides individualized writing support and a range of programming to support graduate writers. Graduate Writing Resources include one-on-one conferences for students looking to work with a consultant over several weeks, as well as additional writing resources.
  • Ombuds Services is a confidential resource for any UMass Boston community member experiencing a university-related problem, conflict, or concern. The Ombudsperson can help you think through complex issues, understand your options, and consider next steps. Where appropriate the Ombuds can provide practical assistance toward a resolution. As a confidential, informal, impartial, and independent third party, the Ombuds is unbiased and "off-the-record."   • Beacon-to-Beacon Conflict Resolution connects you with a Conflict Resolution team made up of fellow students to assist you in addressing stressful situations.
