Biography

Delaney, a native of Plymouth, MA, earned her B.S. in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Boston. She continued her studies at UMass Boston, completing a Master of Biology under the mentorship of Dr. Jill Macoska. Her thesis focused on the role of regulatory RNAs in the progression and development of prostate fibrosis. During her time as a graduate student, Delaney served as President of the Graduate Student Government for two years.

Additional Information

Currently, Delaney is an Associate Lecturer in the Department of Biology at UMass Boston. In addition to her teaching role, she serves as the faculty advisor for both the Medlife Organization and the Pre-Dental Society, supporting students' academic and extracurricular growth. She is also a proud member of the Young Alumni Council.
