Biography

Dr. Fawcett is best known for meta-theoretical work on nursology knowledge. She has published many journal articles and book chapters, and several books—including Applying Conceptual Models of Nursing: Research, Quality Improvement, and Practice (2017); with Sarah Beckman, The Neuman Systems Model: Celebrating Academic-Practice Partnerships (2017); and Contemporary Nursing Knowledge: Analysis and Evaluation of Nursing Models and Theories, with Susan DeSanto-Madeya (2013).

Nursology theory development and the relationship between theory and research.
