Biography

Professor Hatch brings over 15 years of nursing and nursing education experience spanning clinical instruction, curriculum design, lecturer, simulation, and skills lab teaching. Dr. Hatch has served in leadership roles in nursing program operations, hospital staff education, and curriculum development, with a focus on evidence-based teaching strategies to promote critical thinking. 

Area of Expertise

Medical-surgical nursing education, curriculum design and course development (online and in-person), simulation-based learning and skills lab instruction, experiential learning and evidence-based teaching, active learning strategies, including flipped classroom methodology.
