Biography

Margaret Shamatta has been a Lecturer in the College of Management at UMass Boston since 2022, and holds twenty years of experience in management within the local Boston small-business community. The focus of her courses surround organizational behavior, communication, teams, and leadership skills. She has served as a faculty advisor in the BEST Boston program at UMass Boston, and received the Betty J. Diener Award for Excellence in Graduate Teaching from the College of Management in 2024.
