The University of Massachusetts Boston student calling program engages alumni, parents, and friends of UMass Boston throughout the academic year. Led by our students (engagement ambassadors), these calls allow us to keep our records up to date, share relevant university updates, and garner philanthropic support for our Beacons.

If you’ve received a call from 617.287.4795 or 617.287.5387, that’s a UMass Boston student reaching out! Our engagement ambassadors help maintain strong relationships with our alumni, parents, and friends of the university, and directly impact their experience and those of their fellow students by raising funds for UMass Boston. Whether it be for a scholarship, athletic program, our U-ACCESS food pantry, or an unrestricted gift, the support we receive from these calls can change the lives of our students.

Calling Hours

Normal calling hours range from 2 to 9 p.m. EST throughout the academic year.
